Thank you for your Expression of Interest (EOI) under the Investor (Investor 2 Category) which we received on 11 August 2010.

Invitation to apply for residence

We are pleased to confirm that your EOI was selected from the Pool and now invite you to apply for residence under the Investor (Investor 2 Category). In your EOI you have claimed a total of 60 points.

You are now able to make an application for residence which may include the people listed above included in your EOI.

If you have a partner and/or child(ren) who was not included in your EOI but you wish to include them in your residence application, you will need to provide their full details and include an explanation in Section M ’Total points and amendments or new information’ of the residence application form about why they were not included in your EOI.

Your invitation to apply for residence does not remain open indefinitely. For your application for residence to be accepted and considered it must be complete and received within three months from the date of this letter, i.e. by 19 November 2010. We cannot accept your application after that date.

Your Application

We enclose the following documents:

* Application for Residence – Investor (Investor 2 Category) (INZ 1166), you must fully complete this form,

* Investor (Investor 2 Category) Guide (INZ 1164), to help you fill in the application form,

* Medical and Chest X-Ray Certificate (NZIS 1007) forms for yourself, your partner, and/or dependent child(ren) (if applicable) which must be completed and submitted with your application. Medical Certificates are required for each applicant. However the ‘Chest X-Ray Certificate’ portion of the form does not need to be completed for children under the age of 11 years or for pregnant women,

* Health Requirements Leaflet (INZ 1121) for further details,

* Police Certificate from China will need to be provided for yourself and your partner,

* English Language Information Guide (INZ 1060), which outlines the English language requirements you will need to meet. You have claimed IELTS 5 and will be required to provide your IELTS Certificate.

The application fee for making an application under the Investor (Investor 2 Category) is NZ$3,400.00.

In your residence application you will need to confirm that the information which you provided in your EOI is still true and correct. Please indicate clearly in Section M ’Total points and amendments or new information’ of the application form if you wish to add to, or change, the information you supplied as part of your EOI.

New Zealand immigration policy requires that once approval to transfer and invest funds has been granted, the nominated funds must be transferred directly from the principal applicant’s bank account(s) to New Zealand through the banking system. We note that some countries operate internal foreign exchange controls which may place restrictions on, or even prohibit, the transfer of funds out of the country.

Before proceeding with this application, we recommend that you consider your position fully in terms of your ability to transfer your nominated funds to New Zealand in a manner that complies with the requirements of New Zealand immigration policy.
