Thank you for your Expression of Interest (EOI) under the Investor (Investor 2) Category which we received on 16 September 2014.

Invitation to apply for residence

We are pleased to confirm that your EOI was selected from the Pool. We now invite you to apply for residence under the Investor (Investor 2) Category. In your EOI you claimed 52 points.

How long is this invitation valid?

Your invitation to apply for residence does not remain open indefinitely. For your application for residence to be accepted and considered it must be completed and received within four months from the date of this letter. We cannot accept your application after that date. The application fee is NZ$3,990 if you are applying from outside New Zealand and NZ $4,100 if you are applying from inside New Zealand.

Forms and guides required for your application

We enclose the following documents:

Investor (Investor 2 Category) Application for Residence (INZ1166) You must fully complete this form.

Investor (Investor 2 Category) Guide (INZ 1164)

This will help you prepare your application.

National Security Check form (INZ 1209)

Each adult applicant is to fully complete a copy of this form and the completed copies are to be returned to our office with your residence application.

Medical and Chest X-ray Certificates (INZ 1007)

These must be completed by each applicant and submitted with your application.

Health Requirements Leaflet (INZ 1121)

Your medical examinations must be undertaken through a doctor who has been approved by Immigration New Zealand (INZ). Page seven of the leaflet, under the heading, “Where do I go for a medical examination”, has a link to the list of approved panel doctors.

English Language Information Guide (INZ 1060)

Provide the original of your IELTS certificate. Your certificate will be returned to you.

Police Certificates

You will need to provide police certificates from your country (or countries) of citizenship and any country that you and any included family member aged 17 years and over have lived in for 12 months or more in the last 10 years. Include countries where your stay has been broken by short departures. Details on how to obtain police certificates can be found on the INZ website.

Key things to remember:

Ensure that the information and documents you provide clearly demonstrate that you qualify for all the points you claimed in your EOI.
